Jaguar Estates is a family-run property developer and investor in South Yorkshire. Since our company was founded in the early 1990s growth and expansion have enabled us to now offer both commercial and residential developments across the north of England – all built and finished to a very high standard.

In the last few years we’ve mainly focused on niche markets. With a thorough knowledge of the market and the local and surrounding areas, we are able to anticipate the need for housing or commercial space and tailor our developments accordingly. By offering high-quality, carefully considered properties, in locations we would be happy to live and work in ourselves, we’ve achieved successful results again and again.

We believe homes should be as unique as the people who live in them, so each of our residential developments is completely unique. We take great pride in finding unused, unoccupied buildings – many of them listed – and, through careful and sensitive restoration, allowing them to be enjoyed once again. We also welcome contracts from housing associations and one of our most significant developments was a bespoke design and build for residents with special needs.

Over the years we’ve formed close relationships with consultants, contractors and tradespeople. This allows us to maintain high standards across everything we do, and we’ve built up an excellent reputation for customer service and satisfaction.

Award-winning developments

Over the past two decades we’ve earned a solid reputation for quality homes and personal service. Our successful schemes can be seen throughout South Yorkshire and further afield.

Our award-winning Barnburgh Hall development near Doncaster involved the refurbishment of several derelict listed buildings and design and build of luxury new-build homes on a spectacular six-acre landscaped site. In Hebden Bridge, one of Yorkshire’s most illustrious market towns, we converted a landmark town-centre hotel into beautiful apartments. And in Hazel Grove,Cheshire, we returned a fire-damaged country mansion to its former glory, creating 25 luxury apartments. Further prestigious developments are planned for 2015 and beyond.

  • Probably the best example of our achievements over the years. This majestic scheme was completed about ten years ago when we successfully completed conversion of a series of derelict listed stable buildings, and also developed new units within a walled garden area and a paddock. In all 19 units were created on a 6 acre heritage site on the edge of Barnburgh vlllage. We received an acclaimed industry Silver Medal for our efforts.

  • Another success story, this time over the hill in Cheshire. We converted a pair of huge fire damaged derelict manor houses into a remarkable scheme of 24 apartments within a rural setting of this wealthy residential suburb of Greater Manchester.
